Meerkats AI

Integrations

Every tool Meerkats connects to, how each one connects, what it reads and what it can change.

A connection is a link to a tool you already use. Once connected, Meerkats keeps that tool’s data in sync, defines metrics on it once, and lets agents read it as business context. In every connected tool, Meerkats can also create, read, update and delete records, within the permissions you grant and the permissions the tool allows, and only after a person approves each change unless you say otherwise.

All connections live on the Integrations page in the sidebar, titled Connect Your Data to unlock Insights. Each workspace has its own connections. The counter at the top shows how many are connected.

How a connection works#

MethodWhat happensUsed by
Sign in and approveYou sign in on the tool's own page and approve a list of permissions. Meerkats gets a token it stores encrypted; you can revoke it from the tool at any time. Meerkats never sees your password.Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Amazon, TikTok, Microsoft Advertising, HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Gmail, GA4
Browser extensionFor portals with no public API. The Meerkats extension reads the pages your signed-in session can see and syncs them. Your password never leaves the portal's own page.Flipkart Ads, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart
API keyYou create a key in the tool and paste it into Meerkats. Keys are stored encrypted and shown once.Walmart Connect, Razorpay, Apollo, data warehouses
Upload or built inNo external account. You upload files, or the feature runs inside Meerkats.Documents, Inventory, Competitor tracking
Meerkats APIYour own code sends data in and reads data out.Any other system

Required connections

The Integrations page marks a sales source as Required: Shopify for stores, Flipkart Ads for Flipkart sellers. Without a sales source, the revenue, orders and margin tiles in Cockpit stay empty and ROAS can only be the platform’s own number.

Connect through the browser extension#

Flipkart Ads, Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart have no public API. For these, Meerkats syncs through its browser extension, which reads the portal pages your signed-in session can see.

  1. Install the extension

On the Integrations page, select Download extension and add it to Chrome or another Chromium browser.

  2. Sign in to the portal

Open the brand or seller portal in the same browser and sign in as usual.

  3. Select Sync via extension

Back in Meerkats, select Sync via extension on the connector’s card. The extension confirms the account it found and starts the sync.

  4. Keep the browser signed in

Scheduled syncs run while the browser is open and the session is valid. If the portal signs you out, the connection shows needs attention until you sign in again.

After you connect#

Meerkats syncs on your plan's schedule: daily on Free, hourly on the $49 plan, every 30 minutes on $149 and every 15 minutes on $399. You can run a sync at any time with Resync in Data Hub › Bronze Layer.

  • Data Hub › Bronze Layer shows the raw synced tables per platform, the sync chip (Never synced until the first run), Sync History for every run, and Resync to run one now.
  • Data Hub › Gold Layer shows the modelled tables: creatives, placements, demographics, geo, hourly and cross-platform views.
  • Cockpit and Reports and Charts fill in at the next refresh. The info icon next to the Cockpit title opens About these numbers, which lists each data source and when it last synced.
  • Agents start using the new data on their next run. You don’t need to change a rule or a prompt.

Fix a connection#

A connector shows needs attention

The token or session expired. Select Connect (or Sync via extension) on the card to sign in again. Everything you built stays; only the credential is replaced.

The first sync is slow

First syncs import history. Ad platforms with years of data and stores with many orders take a while; marketplaces that build reports in the background (Amazon) can take up to an hour. Watch Sync History.

Numbers differ from the platform's own UI

Almost always one of: date range and time zone, attribution window, currency, or comparing the platform’s reported revenue to the corrected number from your orders. Each connector page lists its quirks under How often it syncs.

I connected the wrong account

Open the connector, select Disconnect, then connect again with the right login. Data from the wrong account is removed from the workspace.

Disconnect#

Open the connector on the Integrations page and select Disconnect. Meerkats stops syncing and deletes the stored credential. Synced data stays in the workspace until you delete the workspace, so history and traces remain readable. To revoke access on the tool’s side as well, remove the Meerkats app from that tool’s connected apps.

23 connections listed. Missing one? Any system can send data through the API.
